I always feel sad after Christmas when I see all the trees discarded at the curb. Growing up in the suburbs this wasn't so observable as people generally mulched their own trees in the yard. in the City thousands of trees can be seen daily discarded headed for the landfill. I used to mock fake trees, no longer. Every year I try to document how I feel about it. Not easy representing your disillusion in a single image.
