I love this. Can you please give a little detail on capture and printing? Is the texture in the paper?
The soft hint of of motion while still a very peaceful quiet image. It is dark but beautiful and lovely. I like this.
thank you for sharing, I enjoyed viewing the rest of your gallery as well
Many thanks for your interest, i will try to explain my workflow but please forgive my bad English.
This photograph was made on Fomapan 120 film, painted with light. Paper is Zerkell made in Germany (texture). Exposure B. Model was in total darkness while painted with light, hence the soft hint of motion that you like.
With Pwl, the most important thing is strategy in lighting your scene to get previously planed results. It is not really that hard to learn, but it is a very demanding technique to master. I was really lucky to be Mr Emil Schildts student and sometimes his assistant (Disaster, turn the lights off), and to see him in action.
Look for Gandolfi (Mr Schildt) here on Apug, and if Denmark is not too far away for you, maybe you can attend his workshop.
Thank you thank you Ugo!!!
Fantastic!
I am off to research more. I think your English is quite good, probably better than mine as I type faster than I think!
Now I think I can do something here on APUG to "bookmark" you so I can view your work as you post?
this photograph was a trip to unknown for me (and for my beautiful model Lise), and it is not perfect I know.
Im always daring myself to go further...to explore..and to have fun
