Nice abstraction that stands on its own. With absolutely no disrespect meant to the importance of the memorial, I think the image would have been stronger without the extra content. It's hard to tell stories about highly emotional content like that, and I feel that this fairly stark presentation clashes a bit with that.
But as an abstract it stands well on its own. Quite beautiful.
