Untitled (dead bird)

I was walking at Bruges, Belgium when I saw dead bird on the stone fence. Probably someone had picked it up from the ground and put above fence.
The view was very touching and I got strong 'visualization' what kind of picture I want and how I want to express my original emotion and the moody of the view.

I used 6x6 camera, 80mm lens at full aperture to get shallow depth of field.

I would like to know did I have any succeed? For me, the picture is pretty much what I wanted.

Its a beautiful capture! The only thing i would have done different is to crop the top of the image.

The light from the sky drags the eye upwards away from the the main subject, so I would also be in favour of cropping out the sky. It is important not be dictated to by the camera format.

Just found this in the random selection, love it! I wouldn't crop the sky, it just needs to be there for the image to work
