I enjoy them all! The formality of the framing/composition plays perfectly against the rustic (very!) qualities of the subject. They are the ultimate in vernacular architecture, yet it is remarkable how often we see symmetry and "classical" proportions in them. BTW, there used to be a couple of splendid examples along the Pine Creek, inaccessible by vehicle.
