Thank you David! Actually, I haven't been using my M4 for a year or so now - as my main lens (this one) had an oil on the rear element issue. It's since just been fixed (this week) and it'll be put back to use.
wonderful image and tonal range. seeing tri-x pushed out to 1600 with such a nice tonal range and apparently little grain...makes a guy start to think about things ;-). do you find that xtol works well/best when pushing tri-x?
Thanks all. I find that XTOL just plain works great with everything although I like D-76 1+1 as well. I think a lot of what helped the tonality is purely the beneficial diffuse light coming into the longhouse there. Almost hard to take a bad shot. The particular area in the longhouse is where celebrations and gettogethers are held for things like marriages and birth of a child. The pictures are family members of the people who "own" that part of the longhouse although it is fairly communal.
