ueno shrine

With my newly acquired camera I picked this location for my first 4x5 image. This is the first exposure I took with the camera, as well as my first developed 4x5 sheet (quite a change from 35mm in tanks).

I loved these huge blackened bronze lanterns, covered in such detailed scroll work and the placement of the statue before the temple. This is a view from the cleansing area, a little to the right before entering the temple.
