Two bottles

I was always thinking about my Hasselblad as The Camera, the thing I need to earn through lots of reading and practice. These are my first attempts of using a Hasselblad kind of knowing what I’m doing. I hope you like it.
Location
My living room
Equipment Used
Hasselblad 500CM, 150mm Sonnar
Exposure
about 1-3 sec @F16
Film & Developer
Kodak Plus X, D-76 1:1
Paper & Developer
Ilford MGIV RC paper in Dektol 1:1
This is the kind of subject that Plus-X is good for: brilliant highlights, and pronounced darks. I think you have the exposure, dev, and printing under good control.

If you want to work on something specific, I would say think about the composition, in terms of how you lay out the dark to light tones across the picture plane. You have a good start, but you can make it stronger, and more balanced.

Very nice, a good way to get to know a new camera and a new format.

But it needs an egg...

Thank you for your suggestions Michel. I saw the minuses in the composition, went and bought a back-drop to have a continuous color on the background. Will revisit and improve on the subject.

Fantastic, simple yet perfect image. The greys are perfect and the shimmering glass outstanding. I love it.
