Been so busy lately with work and preparing for an exhibition in November that I have hardly taken a shot in a month. Finally managed to get the Toyo out for a play.

Long story about this image. To cut it short I had a box of Polaroid 55 that I knew had been badly stored (lazy..I know) and a concept. It took 6 polaroids to get two shots...this one and another of my son and daughter having a loving moment. The rest were scrap.

Gutted ofcourse, but I still have four more boxes (unopened and better stored). I have to say...I want to cry for missing the feel of this film...tragic...

The plane of sharp focus goes from her face to behind her (tilt of the lens upward?)

Shangheye -- can you tell me what you consider "bad" and "good" storage? I've got a bunch of 665 that I'd like to keep in good condition.

Wonderful photo, of course, and such as emotive model. Touching.
