Two Berts from Holland with two Bronicas (MSA theme = "Two")
And here they are: the two Berts from Holland, both shooting a Bronica in square format.
All images are shot with my Bronica SQ-B, 40mm 1:4 Zenzanon-S lens on Ilford FP4+ developed in Caffenol-C-M for 14 minutes.
(BTW: this was my second roll in Caffenol ;-)
We went to an old farm in Soest, The Netherlands, It dates back to 1712 and was completely restored two years ago in 2012. It is called: "Het Gagelgat".
Here we made our most serious MSA-entry: a genuine shoot-out simultaneously on two toilets (Bert uses a SQ-A and Bert uses a SQ-B exposure: 2 seconds). ## See also images 2 from this series in my gallery##
But before it came to that, we just sat down and had a quiet little talk about our options. We decided to get our portrait twice, while using the antique mirror for a second view (exposure: ½ second). ## See also images 1 and 3 from this series in my gallery##
We both met a fellow APUG member for the first time live and we both had a nice afternoon. It was a pity it was raining all day, for we intended to go out and shoot some horses outside in the meadow. It is also a pension for very old horses, giving them a second live.
After getting some special wine, honey and marmelade from the farm store, we both packed up our gear to go home. But first I made a second tour through the farm to shoot some snapshots with my Bronica-SQ-B and the 40 mm lens, I used this lens for the first time this day.
