heroic landscape work, a symphony

Thanks all! I can only say that I just happened to be there at the right time of day and the clouds helped to add to the composition. Didn't see one other person all afternoon.
If you've never been, Death Valley is a fascinating place to visit and photograph. This area is just a few miles up the road from Zabriskie Point, which has sadly become pretty crowded with tour buses and photographers.

Very good ! Beautiful sky... Twenty Mule Team Canyon is on my must see list for my next stay in Death Valley.
