Hasemi Field Technical 45 camera, Turku Castle and fallen leaves on bright autumn day. 10/6/2009. The castle was so bright during the moments when sun wasn't covered by the clouds. I wan't to capture that feeling of bright light and same time the coldness of the late autumn. I walked for a while at the castle's yard until I found a good place under the one tree. The foreground was shaded by the trees, which gave good contrast to the main subject, the castle. The photograph is taken from very low. I had to crawl on the ground when focusing and made adjustments to the camera. But at the end, it was worth of all work. Just had to wait for the moment of sunlight perhaps something like ten minutes. Hasemi Field Technical 45 camera, Symmar-S 5.6/150mm
Exposure
f/22, 4 seconds.

Yes, the results are worth all the work you put into this shot. I visited this castle in 1977 and had pretty much forgotten about it until this photograph. Thanks.
