Turimetta toward Long Reef

Late one afternoon in summer. The sun at a very low angle. Comments always welcome.

With an exposure of 15 minutes the camera must have moved. Nothing seems to be really sharp from foreground to background. Surely you must be able to alter the exposure settings or change to Delta 400.

Hi Matthew,
The image is well composed with interest in the fore, mid and background. I think it would be great if you could lighten the deeper shadows a good deal to open up the details there. The foreground rocks are a bit contrasty but you should be able to fix that in printing.

Thanks TEX I've uploaded a better scan that has a bit more sharpening applied. The first work prints are very sharp (where they should be) right through the image.

Hi Mark, I might try unsharp masking to change the values for the final print. This scan represents the first work prints on RC paper.

Matthew,
This is so much better. I forgot to mention that I did think your composition was excellent. I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
Cheers
