Is that a Maxxum/Alpha 9?

@RLangham Yes, european version of Maxxum 9, not xi. Love it. Have couple Minoltas.

@dida My only Minoltas have been MC mount--two SR-t's and a Seagull-made X-370s or whatever that I sold.

I've almost bought Maxxums for cheap on several occasions, but most of the ones I see have sticky rubber grips, and often the lenses seem seized up.

I'm surprised at the quality of the blur. I haven't known many recent (i.e., post 70's) lenses to have such character!

@RLangham Yeah, beautiful bokeh. It is due to f1. 4 lens. Shooted at 1.4. Body is not so important, but Dynax 9 has fastest mechanical shutter ever built, 1/12000 sec. For sunny day and f 1.4 you need it.

@dida That's insane. My EOS 650 only goes up to 1/3000th, which is only the same as some Minolta leaf shutters from the 60's.
