Tsujunkyou

In the mid 1800's, a large aqueduct was needed to transport water to the rice fields in the Shiraito plain, southeastern Kumamoto area, Japan. Built by Yasunosuke Futa. Around noon from Spring to Autumn, water is released to clear the build up of silt. It's quite a sight!

Beautiful, Andrew. 'No surprise from you.
I'm not at all smart about IR, but the tones here are gorgeous, as is the texture of the stone & moss.

It's a terrific photo Andrew and I was surprised to see that it was Kodak HIE as the effect is very subtle. What also caught my eye was at the top of the aqueduct where the water is bursting forth there is what appears to me to be a baby with its arms outstretched I think this is a phenomenon which often occurs when using IR film. You may have noticed it yourself.
