This was shot while trying out a Super Baldax I recently acquired. I'm still getting used to the parallax correction on this. Anyway, I'm looking for thoughts on the curve of reflection in the sand below the horizon. Is it too centered? Should I have gone for more negative space with the sky so that the reflection part would end out of the bottom of the frame?
I think your composition works very well. The foreground has a lot of subtle differences in it. I might agree that it should be cropped higher if it didn't have those nice, little variations. Also, when I crop it to where the highlights hit the right bottom, it loses a lot of sense of depth.
I do keep looking at it cropped to a panoramic image. I think it works if the top is cropped just into where the yellow lightens (about an inch from the shoreline on my monitor). But, I like the coolness of the blues, in the original.
