I'm guessing you were going for the leaves amongst the massive structure. There is an interesting juxtaposition here because we often see the small trees/branches contrasted against massive cement barriers but here we have something more interesting since they are both wood. One young, fragile and alive the other dead, old and massive. And it's almost like the large beams are cradling the saplings to protect them so they can survive. I realize this is a neg scan but I would do a deliberate and delicate job of burning and dodging to accentuate the leaves here. This could be an incredible and rather moving print.
Ditto what Blansky said about the printing, but I'd especially pay attention to burning down that flare spot in the upper right. It's very distracting.
Another look at this structure with a slightly different view or at least light maybe. I too find the flare an immediate eye draw. But, I also find another approach on the view overall. For me it's all about the lower portion of the scene, basically stated from the middle cross-arms down. With that said, when scrolling up and down to the where the cross-arms intersect at the center connecting bolt the focus becomes immediate on the lower half. I really like that view and it also eliminates the flare area too. Anyway, as always just another thought or another view to entertain. This change still keeps the leaves and the nice depth in the photo too. It's a great structure to work with IMO.
