Tree, track, frost and mist

A wonderfully frosty, misty day on Draycott Hill south of the beautiful town of Marlborough in Wiltshire, England. We enjoyed a family walk into Marlborough for lunch and then back. Fifteen miles and an unforgettable day. The world seemed transformed by hoar frost and mist creating something akin to Narnia.

This was my first film developed in Prescysol EF. It probably wasn't the best choice as the scene was incredibly low contrast and I think the Prescysol probably exacerbated the problem. Hence the need for a lith print to bring out some contrast. Unfortunately increasing contrast to this degree highlights all the otherwise invisible imperfections in the stain. Still, I think it adds character to this print.
