Had fun wandering around my neighbourhood with an old Rolleicord that I picked up at local camera shop for cheap. I'm testing it out in the hopes that my senior photo students can use it. Most of the pics are a bit blurry, due to low light and slowish shutter speeds.
It's funny how my mind works. If you told me this photo was taken with a pinhole camera, or even a Holga, I would think, "OK, low-fi, I get it." But knowing it was taken with a Rolleicord twin lens reflex, I judge it more harshly. My brain keeps screaming, "Tripod!"
If you know me, nine times out of ten I use a tripod for my personal work. but this camera will be for my students, and I don't want them lumbered with a tripod. Just need more light.
I did most of my 'O' level photography(1) practical on a Rolleicord Vb. Got me out of thinking that 35mm was the only way to go.
Our back fence faces west and gets most of the weather. The top half is deer wire, partly to keep the view and partly to keep the fence upright when it blows hard.
1. Must have been close to 45 years ago (gulp). I'm not sure there are any 'O' level exams in the UK anymore!

'O' levels were typically taken at 16, and were replaced by General Certificate of Secondary Education. 'A' levels are typically taken at 18, and influence university entrance.
One thing about different camera types I found doing informal teaching is that it helps with visualization.
