Tree Experiment

Tree Experiment

This was an experiment at printing and re-developing in lith. I liked the aesthetics of this image, the snow makes it look like the tree has been cut like a gardener would cut a grafting, but it needed something to lift it, so I overexposed the print by just under half a stop then developed in Dokumol, partially bleached it back and then re-developed in hot lith. The Kentemere Fineprint VC produces some very nice salmon colours and fixing in alkali fixer helped preserver them.
