Wanting feedback on this image. The scan is the best I can manage with limited resources. Does this diptych format come off as a gimmick, or is it an interesting illustration of the subject matter?
OK... you asked for it. I see what you were trying to do here, but for me it just doesn't work. The power lines, IMHO, absolutely ruin what little composition you had and the park cars carry it further down hill. If the tree is the central subject all of the other extraneous elements including the "diptych technique" creates even more confusion. Try this with a different subject. Sorry for my candor, but I just expressed the way picture made me feel.
