ps. have you thought of showing the images with some sort of sounds?
a little micro cassette recorder / answering machine is perfect for that sort of thing :wink: static and all!
 
The experiment was, I suppose, the whole thing - the image quality of a mirror lens (normally characterised by narrow depth of field and out-of-focus "donuts") used completely out of focus to create an abstract dimension.
