This church was dismantled and reconstructed in a canyon along with a number of other structures, all saved from the wrecking ball and oblivion.
Location
Heritage Canyon, Fulton IL
Equipment Used
Zone VI 8X10, Turner and Reich 15"
Film & Developer
Tri-X 320 HC-110 (b)
Paper & Developer
Negative Scan
Looks like a charming little chappel. I'd say it (dismantling iand reassembling it else where) was worth the effort. The lighting is beautiful and highlights the structure perfectly.

Did you record the dev time & temp?

I didn't record the time and temperature Brad.

I typically expose Tri-X and Arista 400 sheet film with a high value placed Zone VIII, developing between 65 and 75 degrees, at times indicated through test. Development with HC-110 is in a rotary drum on a Bessler roller. I have times established for N and N+1 development.

The negatives "normally" proof on a grade 2-2 1/2 equivalent paper. Final prints are made with split printing (in this case a contact print) using a Zone VI VC head on a Bessler 45MX. Papers are Zone VI Brilliant VC or Ilford MG FB.

The print of this one very closely matches the image I get on my monitor, dumb luck I think!

Very well done, I like everything about it. No suggestions or other comments, it is just a very good photograph in my opinion!
