I had a couple exposures left on a roll of 35mm and exposed them without thinking much so I could develop the film -- the first with a shot of my desk at work and the last with a shot of my kids when I got home after a 30-minute commute. Kind of interesting to see two worlds, both so familiar to me, equalized by being side by side and in the same format. Sort of makes me wonder if after shooting subjects all the time, the exposures we waste before development might add up to something interesting in itself, sort of a ledger of the everyday.
