Tramway Bridge

Ian, having now seen some of your original prints I can imagine just how rich in detail this beauty must be. Love the use of the textures you have captured here.

forgive my ignorance but how did the trams get through or over the tube, or is the title wrong?

Well the tube wasn't there when the trams ran along the line.

Bottom left of the picture shows the remains of the wooden bridge that carried the tramway over the river. Here in the UK utility companies often run their services alongside canals or railways between towns and the pipeline was built after the tramway ceased operation in 1930
