Hi guys,thanks for the good feedback.This picture was taken while walking home from work last winter.Yes Juraj,a tripod would have been ideal but I didn't have one at that time.I wouldn't have had the time to set it up if I had it too because the moving train would have left so I just took the shot.Morten,on the other hand,I agree that lack of sharpness could add to the mood and that's what I was trying to capture here. Kat,be sure to come back OK? Just kidding,thanks guys!

This is beautiful and I really get the feeling I've had a railway stations late in the evening after a tiring day. In my book this one's nailed and I think a tripod would have taken away from this picture.
LOL I'm indebted to Lee Shively for reminding me of Robert Adams work. Not only did I find the quote but it inspired me to try a series I have been thinking about for a while. I love the way the postings here not only teach us but also remind us of things we've moved on from that need revisiting
