Train Springs 2006

found that the dark train springs could make for a nice geometic design. the upper half i have debated wither to crop or not. I have two scanned pics one cropped and one not. Jury is still out.

Its a terrible shame that one cannot appreciate at all the prints on screen, especially LF panoramas that end up so tiny... The print must be really nice

What you loose is the deep details of the dark areas. No mater how hard I work to scan and duplicate the prints. They never give me the glow i get from my silver cloride or silver bromide prints. I now scan for record and print for show.

Don,
thanks, I have been pushing towards the full frame than cropping. But I have been very critical of my cropping and what is in the photography since my workshop with Michael Smith and Paula Chamlee. So when I look at one of my prints I try to make sure what I see gives me the best arrangment of subjest mater I can get. I'm still working on it though.
