For the last month or so I've been working to something close to a good Gumoil print and so far this is my best result. I know the contrast is a low but I'm just happy with the result so far. I had been using Arches paper (the same that I use for Cyanotypes and VDB) and the pain kept washing off. The Fabriano paper made all the difference.
The positive for the print was made on Multi Ortho film from B&H developed in Rodinal 1+100.
The exposure was 3:30 in the sun. Winton Oil paints and Fabriano Artistico paper.
Camera: Canon Elan IIe
Film: Tri-X
Rodinal 1+75
1st paint was Lamp Black
2nd was Vandyke Brown
Bleach etched after each application of paint.
