Tracy in a Tree, aka, Impasse. I have 115 images in my media gallery so far, all of them pure analogue. This is the first time I am posting hybrid work. This image is in my gallery as a gelatin silver print. Here it is as a palladium print.
The softness that this process ads to me gives it an almost dreamlike quality. This is like a memory, I really can't explain what I mean, I hope it sort of makes sense? Thanks for posting !
I look forward to your uploads
John
What Art is, is difficult to define and, because the piece produces different effects on each individual, the best definition would be "something that moves you, either positively or negatively.
This photo fits my definition, it makes me feel good, I can not stop watching it.
No question about it, It is Art!
Thank you for your positive and encouraging words. I had to stop posting in APUG when, a) I lost my work space, twice, and then for a variety of reasons, b) I began working mostly in a hybrid work flow that usually begins with a film camera, the negatives of which are scanned, and then printed on film to generate a digital negative, and then back to an analogue alternative process print. It's great to see this organization still thriving, and all many familiar names.
