Who ever said they couldn't? I point even un-coated ones into the sun if I want to.... all those rules are to be broken often! And very nice work here, too.

Single, or even un-coated lenses have the advantage of opening up the shadows. Nice shot too!

Thank you Tony. Yes, that's probably why the likes of Cosina (Voigtlander) still do single coated versions of some of their lenses for the home market. The Japanese love them.
