Yes, true, not sure why - i let the camera decide. lighting should have been roughly the same even though the direction of the photo is opposing. It is a cool place to walk. This part of the Susquehanna is known for its rapids, but that is mostly governed now by how much water is let out of the dam about 4 miles up river. I ride my mountain bike here, up to the Conowingo Dam and back for about an 8 mile ride after work. Most of the ride is on the tow path where the tracks are not laid or have been removed. Riding on those ties is a bit much even for a 29er...
 
I shudder thinking of riding ties. As one motorcycle described an old Ducati race bike - 'would paddle your posterior like an Italian dominatrix.'
