After forgetting to havea take-up spool in the 'blad, I had to run what I brung, bouyed with inspiration from the fine work of DWThomas & rmann.
Fine photograph, HiHoPyro! As for the title, there is nothing better than analog dials and real knobs... Now, for the color, it looks like a beautifully toned print. It is vivid, deep shadow values and terrific highlights, and has some of that great 3D effect going on. So, what would actually happen if a pyro negative were printed on color paper?
'Couldn't agree more about analog. Digital instruments in a car are a dealbreaker for me. I've not printed color, so I'm dumber than a treestump as to what would happen. E6 was as brave as I got in the past. That went well. Price of color paper was also a deterent.
So many knobs - a real feast for my eyes - I like the warm tone on this one. I think the selective focus brings an order to the maze of pipes, adds to our human ability to control big machines. Bob
'Wish I had the experience to have made selective focus. 'Was on the edge of useable light & was just trying to capture the chaos. 'Can't honestly claim otherwise.
I think they need a few more valves! Very nice composition that would've probably been a chaotic mess at a smaller aperture. The wide aperture and close proximity to your subject really enhance the 3D look of the image.
