Torn Curtain

A great location to visit with unlimited photographic ideas. I like this idea a lot. Only change for me is to have included the ULHC of the window frame there. Regardless, works just fine as is too.

Yes, I lost the left hand corner - framing is one of my problems when using a rangefinder camera fairly close - wish I had a view camera when I was visiting - I would have liked to have had the whole window frame and kept the verticals parallel.

A good point there too. As the world turns we just make the best that we can on our outings with the gear on hand. Where the corner slats meet seems to have some great detail.

I don't know what it is about Bodie but 95% of the time I can ID a picture as being from Bodie whether B&W or color just by the color or texture. Visited the place once as a small child in the late '60s, I guess it left an impression on me.
