It was hard seeing him like this. He had lost down to around 85-90 pounds from the cancer. Toward the end it went to his mind. My sister was taking care of their bills as Mom couldn't handle it anymore and Dad never wrote a check in his life. One day she came over and asked where the bills were so she could write out the checks. She told me my Dad said, "Don't worry about the bills, Jackie Gleason is taking care of them." It breaks your heart.
