I really like this portrait. He looks very concentrated on what ever he is doing.

great mood! love how you handled the tones.

tri-x at 6400 eh ? interesting stuff - really like try it in 8x10 (http://www.apug.org/forums/forum44/45718-ilford-delta-3200-8x10-sheet-how-what-other-fast-options-there.html#post565695)

If you dont mind me asking what was your HC110 Dil/time/temp/Agitation ?

What was the lighting in the scene ?

thank you one and all for your nice comments.

heli, he was pondering some texture he had added to a pot he had thrown. i had told him it was too much and he was preparing to tell me why i was wrong!

nick...i was told that triX should not be pushed this far but i wanted to try it...so the dev. times were something i just guessed at by looking at tmax 3200 pushed to 6400...i used hc110/dilution B and developed it at 70degrees F for 11 min. in a small tank, agitating every 30 seconds...
the lighting was only a flourescent fixture somewhere up in the ceiling above his head...as i recall, i had the aperture set to f5.6 but paid no attention to the shutter speed.
hope this helps...

thanks again for all the comments. i do appreciate them all ~~marianne
