Titan 8x10, DPP

A quick direct positive taken with the Titan 8x10 that arrived a couple of days ago.
It was a gusty day, but I stabilized the camera by hanging my photo vest, weighted mostly by my Pentax spot meter, on the camera.
Not a winner of a shot, but gives me ideas for what to try next. Eventually, I plan to shoot film and do alt printing. Maybe lith?

Pretty impressive for a camera with no lens! I've tried this with one of my grandkids using 4x5 film in a can and managed to get a picture, but never got anywhere near this level of detail.

DPP is quite contrasty, but does respond to preflashing. I was just too eager to take a photo with my new toy, to do the testing.Tony, how long did I wait? I wanted an 8x10 version when Ilford brought out the 4x5. I had tried a DIY 8x10 pinhole, but wasn't happy with my efforts. Once Ilford said they'd be releasing the camera, I let a Rob at bigcameraworkshop know I'd take one as soon as he could get any in Canada.
