'A fav kind of framing for me. I really like the shot. There are probably shots outside that would be good, but the inside looking out seems to deliver alot.
Oh this place is incredibly interesting all around. It was one of the original "motels" -- proper motor hotels, with individual little rooms with attached garages -- that sits on Indian Reservation land and once it was abandoned it went the way of pretty much everything on Indian Reservation land. It's amazing how much stuff is still here. It's a very interesting place to shoot.
Good story telling photo. Old buildings and areas like this have some real history to be told. Can be a bit dangerous at times too with regard to stepping on boards with nails, or worse yet some nasty reptile looking to tag someone. Amazing to see there are actually panes of window glass still intact......
@Trail Images It amazes me how much seemingly original stuff there is here -- fixtures and so on. I don't think this place has been occupied since probably the 1960s. There's a lot of modern trash here too, like a vacuum cleaner, car stereos, and so on, but a lot of it is original. It's quite creepy in that respect, and in a cool way.
