Tipped off

I found this last night while looking for another image... Shot it 2003, can't remember why I put it aside to re-shoot probably to include a twisting stand of hair from the head. At any rate pretty funny image so here it is.

Not to be critical, because I really like this and appreciate what kind of work this takes. If her head was not in view, this would be absolutely surreal.

The empty space on the right and a heavily weighed left side full of objects nicely offset , I think, by the head and the toe...............The head seem to be detached anyway to be abstract , I think this works really well , if you look at the rest of Thomas's work this seem to be a recurring theme in different environments.... some are as you describe,

Thomas , hope you don't mind me pitching in for a comment

Ilya nailed it,,, I did shoot along with this image some with out the head as well but it evolved to another concept called "the far side" posted in my gallery here in palladium. This print is a bit dark and if I did it again there are changes that would further separate the face towards a batter abstraction effect. That may be why I put it away in the first place. Currently I don't have a model that has the physical features to make it work but now that it is in my line of site again I'll probably try again. The changes are very subtle having to do with light and additionally I'd probably add a long spiral of curling hair hanging from the back of the head... when time permits
