I agree, the contrast between the corroded chain and the gear is interesting. Nice tonality also. I never seem to get tired of mechanical/industrial subjects. Thanks for posting this.

Years ago I visited Cape May. On the shore somewhere near there was some kind of winching device perhaps to haul up small boats or whatever.
It was nearly completely corroded, because of the sea I suppose. Your pic reminds me of that... Great!
