There are interesting differences among the beaches here that I can get to fairly easily. This one is perhaps the widest of all at low tide. I was lucky to be there for this sand and outflowing water drama.

Thank you, Shawn. I've never burned so much film so quickly in my life both because this area is visually exciting, but also because, as a newly retired photographer-at-leisure, I CAN!! :0
 
Very similar patterns in the tidal fats here in coastal Delaware. Captured well and seen beautifully. Wonderful shot, John.
 
This is a wonderful print with an original exposure par excellence. How did you mute that sun reflection so it doesn't overwhelm the scene?
 
Thank you all for your kind comments. Clive, I didn't do anything to mute the reflection. My guess is that the rippled sand broke up the light, and the coating on the 45mm lens is soooo good that flare is minimal. I love that lens!!!
