Thunderbird

This T-Bird is truly a Blast from the Past! The convertible version of this was truly a boulevard cruiser; my understanding is that this model series was inferior to the two seaters in little things like cornering and braking. As you probably have gathered I preferred the two seater models. Good photo, BTW.

Mr Ed's car! I had a service station on the Gulf Coast back in the prehistoric past, and the employees came w/ it when I bought it from Lion Oil. The main man was Ed, a very good looking older Black man who called me Mr Steve, and I had to tell him over and over it's just Steve. Ed had an eye for the ladies, and they had one for him. When he bought a T-Bird that looked exactly like this one, well, them ladies almost did him AND me in! They sure loved that T-Bird. Fast cars won't kill you nearly as quickly as fast women.
