Thresh-old

In the charming village of Lucignano d'Asso, Tuscany this 1943 threshing machine was being illuminated by the most wonderful reflected and diffuse light making it appear to glow.

It was hard to establish composition and camera viewpoint to try to give a geometric feel with the circles, horizontal, diagonal and vertical lines. What to include or omit?

The white splashes are swallow/swift excrement. They were whizzing in and out whilst feeding their young. They didn't bestow any 'medals' on me, whilst making the image!

Front rise and rear shift only.
