Well, I decided to break out some of my old Azo grade-2. This paper does not have an expiration date and the inside is black opaque paper. The Azo has "this paper manufactured by Kodak" on the back. Must be old? Maybe 60's-70's? It printed very nice. I toned this in KRST 1:19 for 3 minutes and it turned a very nice warm tone. Comments are appreciated.
Very beautiful print. It isn't often that I feel a 'wow' sensation when looking at photographs of trees, but this is definitely a wow print. Beautiful glow and the choice of lens is perfect.
I have some of Azo's cousin Velox that expired in 1947, so it seems these silver chloride papers age very well! Still good with minimal fog, and after receiving some developer according to the Defender 58-D from a new friend, I can print fog free on it and get a very nice print. Looks like this paper is good as new, however.

Thomas, thank you. I was very happy with the paper. Azo is so great to print with. My Thomas safe light was wide open and it was like printing in daylight. Nice to know that this old paper is as good as new. I have a box of 250 sheets dated 6/76 in the fridge and I think this paper is older but don't know for sure. I have some Velour Black and some Kodak Opal from the early fifties. Guess I need to find the appropriate developer. Defender-58-D maybe? I'll have to check it out.
