I like this more better, too. The wave makes all the difference!

I like this one better as well. Possibly the L/H side could be cropped just after the highest point of the rock going from right to left.

I also think the view between the rocks is much more apparent with this camera position.

If there is more negative space above the third and highest bird, I would think about allowing this as well.

I like orange filters as well.

thanks for all your comments i do have more space above so i will have a go and see how it all looks , should i try to dodge the sea near the shore to try and brighten it up abit let me know what you think this is a straight print grade 3 .im going back this morning as there are some caves around those rocks but the tide was too high last week but there is a very low tide at 12 oclock today so i will see what else is there,wayne
 
I think I like your first one better. It seems that the arch and the splash of wave compete for the focal point. Would like to see your next shots, sometimes those return trips can prove very fruitful.. Good luck and keep your feet dry.
