Some crazy variations here. I still want to stay away from the pinks, reds and purples. Now I'm out of paper....
"I still want to stay away from the pinks, reds and purples." Toning with Selenium and gold will convert these colours into browns, plum-brown, grey, and blue just to name a few. You can also combine Selenium and gold toning. Different papers react differently, so experiment. Finally, there is always the sepia route.
