It's amazing the range of prints you can get...It's also different when you use the right side of the film.. :)
Some crazy variations here. I still want to stay away from the pinks, reds and purples. Now I'm out of paper....
The condition of the developer makes all the difference. If all you want is buff colored highlights and warm shadows, try reasonably fresh developer with little or no old brown. Here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fotofish/5578099711/in/set-72157603421366937 is an example of what I mean. This is with Rollei developer and I know Moersch SE5 behaves similarly.
thanks mark. Yes thats closer to what I'm after. I like the tones in wet plate. A brownish goldeny warm tone. This session I took the previous nights old brown developer (30ml+30ml+2L) and just diluted it 2x without adding anything fresh. That actually seemed to get away from the orange and reds and more toward the yellows. Selenium just kills it all off too much and goes to purple. Some of these were dipped in selenium for just a bit.
