I noticed that in French, Death is characterized as female, not male as it is in Anglo culture. So I did a series where "She" takes the life of someone.
It involved some simple, yet complex lighting. How did I do?
Appears too sensual and erotic to be death... You have an obviously young and healthy looking male model being approached by a a nude female covered in a black sheet... I would entitle it "Seduction".... I believe in order to truly illustrate a death in progress, the male should be in some sort of "white face" makeup to show paleness, and the female should be stern, more middle aged and "witch like" with a thick cloak that didn't show nudity.... Just one observer's view
