There's nothing worser than a Mercer.....

In Ralph Steins wonderful book Treasury of the Automobile he relays how the young rich sporting set had a rivalry between the Mercer and the Stutz. The Stutz Bearcat gang would chant the above, and the Mercer crowd would return, 'You've got to be nuts to drive a Stutz!' See, nothing ever changes.

I love the interplay between the shiny radiator and the luminous out of focus areas.

Nice pic, gorgeous boka (sp?), but....will somebody please buff the damn polish on the chrome!
 
Thanks both! No chrome on this baby, it's all brass. I should forward this to the collection manager? Actually, it's so dark in there no one would ever see it except a Petzval and 19 seconds.
