still out there shooting collodion.

today it was still snowing but i could not resist. it took me two plates to get my exposure down but here is my favorite

4 1/2 x 7 aluminum (i ran out if 5x7 and was cutting down the "drops")

i have been trying to do my very best....it helps that i am having the time of my life! these last pours were some of my best! i almost got a perfect collodion pour today....and then botched the developer pour.....

Man Eddie, you are making more wet plate exposure than most of us make film exposures! Keep up the good work.

Eddie, Great results! You better get on the phone with Maine Trophy so you don't run out of aluminum. But for the time being you can run down to your local glass supplier and pick up some clear glass and do some clear glass ambro's. Just keep in mind when you feel that headache coming on its time to get away from the ether.
 
har har har! i just called main trophy on thursday and ordered another 6 full sheets! i will tell you, the smaller sizes are a bit easier and use a lot less chemicals....

i also bought some glass on my way home on friday. i am not sure if i have the correct stuff to clean it though. it is snowing here again. i do not think i can get back in my driveway if i leave...so i will use what i have for now.

lets see if i can find something interesting to shoot today as it is snowing....
