Why are these shots so grainy? Did you up-rate your Tri-X or push it? Or is it merely a function of the stand development?
 
Ah, yes--I pushed the snot out of this roll. There was agitation for 30 min, and standing dev for another 30
 
You sure did a bang up job pushing the film GrantR,to bad about the streaks.there is pixlation on my monitor screen but the grain itself works OK.

Yes, I wasn't razzing about the grain...just wondering. Sure doesn't look like plain EI400 !!

Do you mean you agitated for 30 SECONDS, not minutes...then stand developed for 30 minutes?
8^) Just a guess.

I know I'm going to sound like a Church of Rodinal disciple, but you really should try that developer for stand or semi-stand.
 
Nah--I actually did 10 second agitations once a minute for 30 min, then I let it sit for 30 min.
I usually use Microphen or some "PaRodinal" when I push this hard--but for what ever reason I just used D76...probably because it was already mixed!
